I bought this book because I love Traci Bautista's work, I already have, of course, "Collage Unleashed" that I love and which will remain among my favorite books for a very long time, I am sure.
This time, it is not about collage and specifically making books, but more about Doodling as says the title. One more time, it is very well explained, the images are gorgeous and the work is well done.
My only concern is that, according to me, it is rather hard to explain and make the detail of someone's doodling. I mean, doodling is something we do instinctively. If we follow Traci's instructions, we are going to doodle as she does, we are going to follow her different steps. It is perfect for someone who has absolutely no idea about how he/she is supposed to doodle and really needs step by step explanations. But for someone who is already used to doodle by his/her own way, I am afraid some of these explanations could be confusing or redundant.

After taking Traci's free on-line class with the same title, Doodles Unleashed, this book helped tie everything together. Traci is a great teacher and this book exemplifies her knack to teach others. Her art work is beautiful and with her help your art work can be as inspirational and creative as Traci's. This book is colorful and detailed and if doodles and mixed media are your forte', then pick up a copy. You will love it!!!

I knew I had to have this book after loving her first book "Collage Unleashed" and recently participating in a Strathmore Artists Workshop taught by Traci.Her shine, her style, and her doodles will have you inspired and smiling from cover to cover!! Heck, she had me at the introduction:).This book is for beginners to advanced -I love that her pages are sprinkled thru-out with "Watch It!" notes so you are able to go see a tutorial video online before or after reading about a particular technique. How cool is that??? This book is definitely a "must have" and if you don't have "Collage Unleashed" do yourself a favor and buy them both!
