This latest offering by the editors of Bead and Button delivers on all the aspects I've come to expect from the magazine. The projects range from simple to advanced, and cater for novices and expert beaders alike. The pictures are large, clear and colourful and the instructions are easy to follow, allowing you to learn new techniques as you go along. The collection of projects, is, as usual, varied and inspiring, ranging from stringing to wirework, beadweaving and loomwork. Based on the reviews, I bought volume 4. Afterward, it did not seem to meet my desire so I bought volume 3. I do not know why the review favor volume 4 over volume 3. There are a lot more interesting projects in volume 3 that will meet the needs of different kind of Jewlery making people. This book gives me a far better view of different areas that I could tackle into Jewlery making. Even if I choose not to get into those areas, it is still an eye opening expereience. I brought the book to my Jewlery making class and everyone found something they were interesting to try. I wish I had bought only volume 3 instead of both. I say this not that volume 4 is not as good, but some of the projects are too complicated for an beginner and too costly for someone who is just doing this for fun and personal pleasure.
